NEW YORK -- A lawyer for an actress who told police that Harvey Weinstein raped her in 2010 says she is frustrated that prosecutors have not yet brought charges against the media mogul.
"Boardwalk Empire" star Paz de la Huerta reported the allegations to police in late October and has spoken publicly about them.
Two law enforcement officials say that prosecutors and police travelled to Paris to interview de la Huerta, and have spoken to other witnesses multiple times. The officials weren't authorized to speak publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
Weinstein's attorneys have said he denies any claim of non-consensual sex and that they would respond in any "appropriate legal forum, where necessary." They had no comment on Friday.
