While Zoe Saldana received plaudits for her red carpet form after the birth of her twin boys, the actress revealed that getting there has been brutal. And it isn't over.
Plagued by low energy, with a body "bent out of shape" after she gave birth in November, Saldana took to Facebook on Friday to describe her post-pregnancy difficulties -- and vowed to overcome them.
"Bouncing back feels impossible, but I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up," she wrote. "I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work. .... my clock is ticking!"
The 36-year-old star of "Avatar" and "Guardians of the Galaxy," who had previously welcomed social media dialogue on breastfeeding issues, this time invited other new parents to talk with her for the next two months as she continues working with a personal trainer and shares exercise and dietary tips. Who's in?
