Tonight, I'm joined by international movie star Freida Pinto. After becoming a household name with her role in the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire, she has strung together a number of notable projects, including her latest, titled Desert Dancer. The film tells the true story of an underground dance company formed in the hostile climate of Iran, during a nationwide dancing ban.
In the clip below, Freida shares what drew her to the story, and how her experience making the film has educated her on the beauty of the often-stereotyped Iranian people.
