NEW YORK (AP) — Some of the biggest names in music have established their own online streaming service.
Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Madonna, Jay Z, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Jason Aldean, Daft Punk and Jack White appeared onstage together in New York City Monday to announce the launch of Tidal, an artist-owned music and video streaming service. Keys said the artists hope the new service will "forever change the course of music history" and ensure the viability of the industry.
