ST. JOHN'S, N.L. -- At least a dozen pricey pieces of art have been stolen from a home in St. John's, N.L.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the heist happened sometime between April 18 and May 17, when the break-and-enter was reported to investigators.
It says a full list is still being compiled, but police said a "significant quantity" was stolen, including work by famed Newfoundland and Labrador artists.
The 12 artworks police have already confirmed missing include Robert Wood's "The Maine Coast," Christopher Pratt's "6 cents" and a piece by Newfoundland and Labrador still-life artist Helen Parsons-Sheppard.
Police are asking the public for information.
