Heico posts 4Q profit

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) _ Heico Corp. (HEI) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $44.3 million.

The Hollywood, Florida-based company said it had profit of 65 cents per share.

The defense and aerospace contractor posted revenue of $363.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $156.2 million, or $2.29 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.38 billion.

Heico shares have risen 45 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $78.94, a rise of 62 percent in the last 12 months.
