Deadpool gets Bolly support

HOLLYWOOD’S new superhero movie Deadpool clashes this weekend with Fitoor and Sanam Re — Bollywood’s two mush trips set to woo the Valentine’s Day crowd. While the film version of Deadpool has been long awaited by hardcore fans, hardselling it in the Indian market was always a challenge considering the concept is not quite familiar among the larger audience here. A couple of Bollywood stars at a special screening would seem like the perfect push at hardselling the film, so when Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra turned up to watch Deadpool at a suburban theatre in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, the PR brainwave seemed a smart one.
