The Huffington Post Is Hiring An Entertainment Writer

About the Role:

The Huffington Post is looking for an entertainment writer with a voracious appetite for viral celebrity, TV and movie content -- and can find it before it goes viral. This editor will be an ace when it comes to surfacing content on social platforms like Reddit, Youtube, Pinterest and Tumblr and be able to turn their findings into engaging and sharable content for our readers. Ideal candidates will also have big ideas about how we can incorporate original video into our coverage. Sense of humor and an original take on the zeitgeist is a must.

Requirements for Success:

* Have at least two years of digital experience

* Possess advanced news judgement

* Handle breaking news situations in a calm and responsible manner

* Web experience a must

* Be passionate and knowledgeable about entertainment and culture

* Technical graphics and video skills a plus

* Be curious about experimenting with new ways of storytelling through multimedia

* Be able to take constructive criticism from experienced editors

* Sense of humor is a plus

* Strong social media presence is a plus!
